KEDS makes Ferizaj Sheret with new electricity grid

The extension of investment projects by the Kosovar Company for Distributation and Electricity Supply, KEDS under the Distribution Network Development Plan has reached one of Ferizaj's peripheral regions in Sheret.

The entire region has benefited, particularly the “Naim Beka”, from this investment that KEDS has implemented under projects aimed at boosting the quality of the electricity network for better supply across Kosovo.

New “Trafo, 85 concrete pillars for low tension, 5 for medium tension. Four thousand meters of air cables and another 4 thousand meters of underground cable, along with 2,000m of cables per medium tension, are part of the investment under the project that has been implemented for the Sheret” neighbourhood, the KEDS reported.

The entire investment is of the highest European standards, and the impact will be directly on the quality of supply, stable tension and on risk avoidance from the outdated network.

Among the 243 family economies benefiting from this KED investment in Sheret are the Avdiu families, Hamza, Haliti.

“First viewed investment. The danger has been important to escape because aging pillars and bare cables have risked life. As far as quality is concerned. Now it is residents who must preserve this investment that KEDS” has made, says Agzim Haliti on this side.

Even his co-placer, Avdi Avdiu, lauds investment as expected now and for so long.

It's like everything's been forgotten. Now God has this job that KEDS has made to be seen by others and they look to us. There's never been a network investment before. It's been a lot of trouble”, Avdiu says.

The Development Plan of the Distribution Network is a master plan of KEDS that envisions investing 300m euros in Kosovo's distribution power network by 2025. Through this master plan, KEDS learns to renew the electrical network and make it similar to the electrical networks of developed European countries.
