The Kosovo Assembly will hold an extraordinary session tomorrow, with the only topic on the agenda, the one polluted air in Pristina, which has taken on disturbing proportions.
The decision to maintain this emergency session is made today by the Parliament's Headship, following the alarming state of polluted air in the capital.
VV MP Albulen Haxhiu has demanded that there be a resolution on the issue, except for the session.
We as the parliamentary group consider it too important to hold this extraordinary session. But also not to have recommendations but a resolution, because you know that the resolution is much more powerful than recommendations, which may or may remain in the Government's will to apply or not. Likewise, we will certainly try clear measures through the resolution after the debate we will make in the Assembly tomorrow. Also, it should be taken into account that if oil is not controlled, if the price of electricity is not reduced, and if KEK filters are not checked, each session remains in vain. Also, we should see the possibility that tomorrow we will also present one of the points of this resolution's division of the means for a million trees, which would be planted in Pristina and Obilic”, Haxhiu said.
And Chairman Wessel said they should think of a national strategy through this session.
