And that government officials should change access, Behlul Beqaj also thinks of the agreements reached in Brussels between Kosovo and Serbia. He has suggested that the failure to abolish the Serb majority Communists Association would also imply the Serbs' disapproval of transforming KSF.
“If key factors do not radically change access to liberalisation, demarcation does not have the necessary support in parliament... The AKS, even if the Government did everything in time and as the Constitutional Court suggests, Serbs will not agree to such a solution. While the non-formation of the AKS means even the failure to favour the Serbian List for transforming KSF into FAK”, Beqaj said, among other things.
Beqaj, meanwhile, has mentioned other important Kosovo processes that, according to him, will be hampered by unfriendly circumstances for what he calls the government's non-cooperative behaviour with opposition and internationals.
He cites demarcation, association, visa liberalisation, army formation, fighting crime and corruption as the government's main challenges, Haradinaj, and the year we just entered.
By contrast, Haradinaj had pledged that his government would make major decisions, as during Isa Mustaf's rule it had criticised him for his lack of courage to deal with major topics.
