Hahn: Kosovo must resolve border issue, EU does not issue

Han in an interview for Austrian APA agency, stressed that the main issue in domestic duties for all candidate countries is “to live with the rule of law”, and the second is the issue not resolved of borders.
Speaking to each Balkan country, Hahn has stressed that Kosovo must resolve the border demarcation issue with Montenegro, as do other countries around it.
“Of course we will not accept countries that have unresolved problems with its neighbours. The border dispute Slovenia and Croatia have will no longer exist in the EU. Of course, Serbia must resolve the first issue with Kosovo, as well as the second problem it has with Croatia about the border, it must also definitely finish demarcation of the border between Montenegro and Kosovo, as well as Albania and Greece”, Hahn said, broadcast Indesksonline.
The commissioner noted that, because of all of this, he expects the region's European perspective to be confirmed in May at the summit of Western Balkan countries in Sofia.
He didn't leave without commenting on the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, saying it was a call to wake up, so everyone can see how fragile the situation is.
