In the northern part of Kosovo (the municipalities Zubin Potok, Leposaviq, Zvecan and northern Mitrovica) the situation continues to be tense”, the announcement published on the site of Germany's Ministry of Foreign Affairs notes.
Although, according to the rule, violence is not directed against foreigners, the possibility of isolated incidents restricting the overall freedom of movement cannot be ruled out, the announcement said.
Therefore, travelers are advised to be informed about the situation before traveling to northern Kosovo, to prepare carefully for travel, to include local residents, respectively, if they travel individually to be accompanied by local connoisseurs of circumstances, and to avoid crowds
In all other parts of Kosovo, the situation is principledly calm and stable, found in the communiqué, and adds that the situation there has calmed down after partially violent anti-government shares in the first part of 2016, but warns that the potential for such protests is still ahead, Time broadcasts.
Therefore, it is recommended that travelers in all parts of Kosovo avoid crowds and be informed locally of the security situation.
