Thirteen months have taken the Constitutional Court and Appeals to complete the process of rejecting the indictment in the case of Azem Syla and 38 other people charged with organised crime and corruption.
Both the first and the second, based on the decision that has been held by “Koha Ditore”, have dismissed the accused's claims of dropping the indictment, considering them groundless.
The Court of Appeals has recently estimated that there is sufficient and acceptable evidence, which constitutes the suspicion that Syla and others have committed the criminal acts they are charged with.
He wanted to start a fair trial in the first degree. Besides, the paper has been informed that the trial is expected to begin next week, from January 8th onward.
