New developments in the probe into Donjeta Pajasitaj assassination case

Three witnesses were proposed to testify in the murder trial of Donjeta Pajazitaj.
An investigative policeman and two experts from legal medicine and microbiology were proposed to be heard in the quality of witnesses by Gzim Kolcak, the defendant's lawyer, Naser Pajasitaj.
Indictee Naser Pajazitaj's lawyer, Gezim Kolcak, during today's hearing proposed to be heard as a witness in this trial, investigative police officer Albert Muja.
According to him, there are six unfinished reports on the subject, and for that reason attorney Kolcak proposed the investigative policeman to be heard in witness quality.
The defendant's lawyer also proposed two expert witnesses as witnesses to the Donjeta Pajasitaj murder trial.
Experts from legal medicine and microbiology were proposed to provide evidence about the dead bodies of Donjata Pajasitaj, reports Kalxo.com.
The court approved attorney Kolcak's proposal, since even the prosecutor of the case Valbona Disha-hajosa was not against it.
During today's witness-quality hearing, the accused's daughter, Arjeta Ukaj, and witness Teuta Avimitaj had to testify. Not one of the witnesses was present during today's hearing.
Syle Lokij, chairman of the court, said Kosovo Police have announced that the two witnesses live abroad.
Despite their absence, the parties agreed that pre-trial statements given to the police and prosecutor should be read during the hearing.
The next session was scheduled to be held on February 26th of this year.
For the murder of Donjeta Pajaziaj of Decani's Strell, her cousin Naser Pajasitaj is being tried.
Before she was found dead in the mountains of Strellz, Donjeta Pajasitaj had been declared missing for several weeks.
The assassination of Donjeta Pajazitaj had shaken public opinion, with what cases were sometimes peaceful gears in search of justice.
