Vetevendosje MP Dardan Molliqaj has reacted after a statement by organising secretary, Ismail Kurtesh, who accused him of having illegal meetings with Movement activists and that he is talking to “of the largest” on this party. Molyqaj has written on Facebook that this statement is anti-democratic and very untrue, especially at the time when differences are being discussed within the organisation.
Moliqaj has clarified that two meetings have been held with the structures of Movement in Pec and Decani, and that their goal has been to discuss the situation in which the party is located.
Since I'm a part of the Movement and its MP, I don't know what Kurteshi is called when he calls our meeting an illegal <x0). Since many days have been called to the Movement Book, I expect him to respond to which point of this statute prohibits such meetings or values them as”ilegal”. He wrote Molly, he broadcast Periscope.
He also expresses concern that Kurteshi is using this language as he says at each meeting with members every day.
Moliqaj has also asked whether his statement has been discussed in the leadership of the Movement, and whether it is the decision of headship that this declaration be the official position of the Movement.
Here's his full reaction:
At the time when we are discussing our differences within the organisation and members of the Movement's sympathies are increasing the hopes that together we will overcome the internal problem in our organization, the task leader of the Organising Secretary, Ishmael Kurteshi, issues anti-democratic statements with many falsehoods containing divisive languages.
We held two meetings with Movement in Pec and Decani structures. First in a restaurant and second in the Movement Office. The purpose of these meetings has been to discuss the situation in which the Movement is located and not what is claimed in Kurteshi's statement.
Since I'm part of the Movement and its MP, I don't know what Kurteshi is called when our meeting calls it an illegal” meeting”. Since many days have been called to the Movement Book, I expect him to respond to which point of this statute prohibits such meetings or values them as”ilegal”.
Still more problematic for me is that Kurteshi is using this language almost every day at each meeting with members in which he is accompanying Movement Speaker Albin Kurtin.
Finally, since his statement was posted on the official Facebook Movement page, I want to ask a question: Has his statement at the head of the Movement been discussed, and is it the decision of headship that this declaration be the official position of the Movement?
If so, how do we understand calls to talk when such low attacks are at the same time? If not, when will the leadership of the Movement distance itself from this scandalous declaration?
The mentality that is being installed in our organization is extremely dangerous and unacceptable to a literal political organization. The issue is serious, so treatment should also be serious. Unfortunately, so far this problem has not been seriously addressed, rather, more divisions have been sparked.
