Catalonian's ousted president, Carlos Puidgemont, has privately admitted that his attempt to secure independence for the region from which he comes has ended and even claims that he was sacrificed by his side, according to messages sent to a colleague who were caught by television cameras, reports Guardian.
On Wednesday, a Spanish television published the messages Pudgemont had sent to former Health Minister Tom Comin, while the latter was in a situation in Leuven, Belgium.
These messages were accidentally picked up by cameras from this television behind Comin.
They cite the last <x0 Days of the Catalan republic” and show that the fallen leader is preparing to end his attempt to return to his previous position. “Since you realize that it's all over,” is read in one. Our people in Europe have sacrificed us. Or at least me. ”
Another message says that the Spanish government's plan has won. Pudgemont himself confirmed that he sent these messages. Periscope
