Kosovo Customs spokesman Adriatic Stavileci has told Kosovo that the law on restriction to age automations by up to ten years and the other limit on gas emissions, which will come into force from January 1st of next year, has influenced imports of vehicles from 22 thousand to 35 thousand.
This year's “Automotive Import is introduced as of January 1st, where each vehicle has to meet the age criteria of up to ten years and the other criteria of the euro-four standard, so that's why we have a huge increase in imports of vehicles, which have only so far been imported over 30 thousand vehicles, which, compared to last year, we have had 22 thousand imported vehicles throughout. This growth represents 33 percent more automobile import growth. So, we expect that by the end of December the number of imported vehicles to reach 35 thousand”, Stavileci said.
Otherwise, Kosovo Customs remains one of the most important institutions for the filling of the state ark, where for 2018, it is planning to insulate 1 billion and 75m euros.
