There are hundreds of cars standing there for years. No one knows how they ended up there, but they've been locked up for years and owned by the Pristina municipality.
The Pristina municipality has never tried to open public auctions for their sale, at least sell them for iron. Bad infrastructure caused many of them to saw into the water during the winter season and then rise. The courtyard resembles a field of motorcycle racing, and public lighting is missing.
It is thought that there are about 500 cars, most of them blocked.
Tens of them are in good condition, having been confiscated by police and standing there for days or years, depending on the court's decision.
A private company is engaged in carrying vehicles. According to the company rule, it belongs to 15 euros, or 50 percent of the total amount of a day's stay.
Citizens for the seizure of their cars must pay 30 euros and 5 euros for every 24 hours of driving in the parking lot, which is in a state of chaos.
The news.net was in this parking lot, but the guard and an official there didn't let it get photographed from the inside. “Take a picture outside, in the yard you can't get in. Go to Muhedin Nushi get permission, then come, tell them about each car, the best ones are here in the middle of the yard. There are also cars that were confiscated from cases of disasters in communications, so without permission they did not get photographed”, he said.
He has attempted to negotiate directly with Pristina municipality Administration Director Muheddin Nushi, but his assistant has said it happens on medical leave and that it comes in a few days. And this Friday, your assistant said the principal was busy. Meanwhile, via the phone, Principal Nushi said questions should be addressed through the information office, but this office, like almost the whole year it has been nontranspressive, has refused to answer.
