KA LLXO.com has recorded the photo of a car from which four bullets were allegedly fired in Kosovo Serb leader Oliver Ivanovic, who was killed this morning in northern Mitrovica.
The car has been found and burned by Kosovo Police in Zvecan Minor.
Earlier, Mitrovica's chief prosecutor, Fatmir Syla, confirmed to KALLXO.com that Ivanovic was killed before his party's Elilia, SDP.
Oliver Ivanov was born in Pec on April 1st 1953. He went to the Zagreb Military Academy, where he returned to Kosovo and graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Mitrovica
Prior to the war, he was president of the Karate Club “Trepca” in Mitrovica and began political activity in 1999, with a request from the “Bridge Roses” who invited Ivanoviqi to train as karate master.
In 1999 he became a member of the Serb National Council, SNV, and later president of the executive board.
It was fired after two years when it called on Kosovo Serbs to participate in the Kosovo elections.
In 2001, he began the creation of the Co-ordination Body, the official organisation of the Serbian government, while that year he was elected deputy of the Kosovo Parliament from 2001- 2004 by the “Return” coalition.
Oliver Ivanovic was leader of the “Leire Party, Democracy, Justice”.
In 2008 Ivanovic became the secretary of state at the Serbian Ministry for Kosovo, while in 2013 he ran for the mayor of the Northern Mitrovica municipality.
Ivanovic was arrested in 2014 for war crimes in 1999 and 2000 in Mitrovica as charged with murder, property damage and expulsion of Albanians from northern Mitrovica
While in custody, he went on hunger strike in search of freedom protection.
The Witnesses said during the war they saw him in uniform and armed.
Ivanovic was convicted of war crimes committed in 1999 to 9 years in prison, while later the case against him has turned into retrial.
