Socialist Movement for Integration head Monica Krygari held a face-to-face meeting with Democratic Party leader Lulzim Basha at DP headquarters today.
At the meeting, which began at 7: 00 a.m., accompanied by the head of the LSI parliamentary group, Petrit Vasili, Grande discussed the January warning protest with Basha. Journalist Elda Menga gave details to BalkanWeb of this 90-minute protest meeting, believed to take place on January 15th, on the occasion of the launch of the first parliamentary session for 2018.
The protest could be held in front of the prime minister and is expected to be even more massive than that of December 18th, which took place for the election of the chief general interim prosecutor.
After meeting with Vasili's Headship, Basha hosted two vice-chairmen, Edmond Spaho, Secretary-General Arben Ristani, and organising secretary Eno Bozdo, where she discussed other details about the protest.
In a later report, BalkanWeb learned that in this recent talks with Basha and his trusted ones, the chief Democrat scheduled a meeting with parliamentary allies tomorrow at 10:00 tomorrow to determine the date of the opposition protest. Reporter Elda Menga referring to the DP's sources suggests that at tomorrow's meeting, Basha has also called PACE leader Agron Duka.
