A mother in Taiwan will receive compensation worth $1m after suing her son to pay the money spent on his schooling in the field of dentistry.
According to the BBC news, the dentist indicted by his mother in 1997, after starting to work, signed an agreement he is obliged to pay his mother 60 per cent of his monthly salary.
Mother Luo, made it known that the older son remained loyal to the deal already made by the young boy has refused to pay the schooling expenses.
The Supreme Court considered the mother's indictment after years of waiting as fair and valid agreements and ruled that the dentist paid his mother $1m in compensation.
It further becomes known that the son, during the indictment, has been protected by saying there should be no financial compensation for child rearing and that the agreement signed at the age of 20.
Chu also claimed that after graduation, her mother has worked at his clinic for years and that she has earned more money than she has decided to pay.
Mother Luo said she spent $1.7 million on her two sons' schooling.
