Vlora, seized over 1 tonnes of cannabis in Karaburun

Vlora police forces have finalised Wednesday afternoon the code-named operation “Karaburun”, in which they have seized over 1 tonnes of cannabis type narcotics. Concretically, the resources are precise, blue uniforms have seized 1,110kg of cannabis, as well as a floating instrument through which the narcotic matter would be transported to Italy.
Sources note that the operation has started Tuesday's noon on 5 September and is still under way, Top Channel writes.
The investigations began after a call to the Vlora Police Operations Room signalling the seaward exit of a burmon without prior authorization.
Police units have immediately been put in search of it, which have conducted checks in the maritime area between St. Jan and the Language Cape in Karaburun.
It was during research that a fast - paced gore has been recorded at the site called Zaapwell, and official units have been tracking it.
The head of the gomone has abandoned his vehicle, using a “Mercury” 150 horsepower, on one of the coasts of the peninsula and has fled to its forested area.
Blue uniforms, assisted by special departments, have combed the area, but because of darkness and difficult terrain, they have found it impossible to find the scathing.
Then, in further research, a total of 1,110kg of cannabis, packed in 54 large packages and hidden between trees and bushes, has been found at the site called the Vallandy Depot, between Bristan Bay and Gramma.
Sources add further that the investigations are under way and that several persons have been accompanied to questioning, including the owner of the gomones, who signalled her receiving from the wanted person.
