U.S. President Donald Trump has asked Congress for some $7.8 billion in initial payment as an attempt to help recover post-raining damage in Texas and Louisiana.
Officials have said there will be further funding requirements when it becomes known the full impact Harvey storm has had, the BBC writes, broadcasts Klan Kosova.
Some residents have already been allowed to return to their homes but that floods are continuing to go on growing in some areas.
President Trump is expected to visit Texas for the second time this Saturday.
The number of people who died of these floods has written in 47, while some 43 thousand are currently in barracks.
