“Negotiation of relations should go to the citizens of Serbia and Kosovo, and it is essential to preserve peace and stability in the region”, he has said, welcoming the initiative of Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq to launch an internal dialogue on the issue, broadcast Indesksonline.
The EP rapporteur for Serbia noted that the EU would not force either Pristina or Belgrade for such initiative and that the sustainable normalisation of relations will not be achieved by force, but only by the consent of both sides.
