Two Italian police officers have been suspended and are expected to be punished if convicted, allegedly raping two American students. The event took place Thursday at the centre of Florence in Italy, while 20-year-old students with studies have denounced the case.
Two members of the Italian gendarmerie intervened in the first few hours after the announcement of riots at a nightclub in Michelangelo Square, and since there were no taxis in the vicinity, the official police vehicle sent two American students to their residence, and then allegedly raped them.
