The hair also said their list includes all ethnicities and is shortlisted because they want to have good candidates who give something to the city with their work.
Our “List is short, but composed of all ethnicities, we have Turkish ethnicity, we have Roma ethnicity, we have Bosnian ethnicity, it's understood that Albanian as well. The reason we come out with so few candidates is simple, we just want to have candidates who are good, candidates who can not only win votes, but can give something to the city with their work... Our basic goal was to show ourselves in the city and to give the city a different spirit than it has so far in municipal leadership”, Qipa said.
The alternative has also introduced assent candidates for Prizren's Communist Assembly.
One of them Mahmut Drini said they will give an alternative thought and action to Prizren.
I think that we members that are running will give another thought and a different action, an alternative action in Prizren municipality. As for the second professional reason, I think I'm going to make my contribution to two very important areas of life in education even in sports where I've worked and acted for nearly 50 years. While the third reason concerns Prizren's own citizen, which is even more important”, Drini said.
Drini has also said that now with Prizren candidates this country's citizens have whom to vote for, and that party will be the solution for many problems of Prizren citizens.
Next candidate Nue Spaqi said that no candidate from his party has been decetified by the CEC, and that shows the values that have alternative candidates.
“No alternative candidate has been decertified, this is a good start as a political party because it means that we have candidates of integrity and that have personal values and those values are joined by the value of the alternative”, Spaqi said.
Alternatives to the October 22nd local elections will compete with 10 candidates for Prizren's Municipal Assembly, and their names are: Musli Miftari, Ana Nimani, Auron Kozvacliu and Mehal Hafizallari, Nomena Laci, Hysnie Carcul, Nue Spaqi, Mahmut Drini.
