Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq has met in New York Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Elisabeth Millard.
According to Serbian media, Vuciq has been embarrassed by Millard, after she has raised the question of burning the American Embassy in Belgrade and killing the Bytyqi brothers, who were Albanians with US citizenship, writes Periscopi.
Meanwhile, a communiqué issued by Vuciqi's office for clarification of the meeting says that during the conversation it has been found to have advanced bilateral relations between Serbia and the US.
“President Vuciq has stressed that foreign policy priorities are Serbia's remaining in efforts for European integration, regional stability, including dialogue with Pristina to find a long-term solution, which would not cost Serbia and where both sides would be equally satisfied or disappointed”, Periscopi writes.
According to the Serbian Presidency, economic reforms have also been discussed, as well as Serbia's efforts to bring greater numbers of American investors to Serbia. /Periscopi/
