Finance Minister Bedri Hamza, in the debate area in Klan Kosova, has said the new government will increase wages for all employees in the public sector, depending on the rate of economic growth.
He has declared that despite this, the basis of economic growth remains the private sector, which must be supported so that the country's economy can be empowered
“As a result of economic growth and reduced informality normally increases the budget, and wages are also raised. There will be salary increases, for all who receive money from the state”.
The “Base of economic growth must be the private sector. The public sector is almost complete with a number of employees. We need to support and direct ourselves to private sector”.
The private sector needs support for access to finance. If the financial presence on the Credit Guarantee Fund is added, we will be able to raise up to 250m euros the value of loans that can be taken within this framework”.
Hamza has also talked about the level of salaries in the private sector, providing clarifications on why he thinks this sector in some cases has lower salaries than public ones.
The private sector using the high unemployment rate has kept wages low, to earn more and pay less. It is not that some companies do not have the capacity to pay higher salaries. Large companies offer salaries far higher than the public sector, in most cases”.
