But how much such elections can affect the harmony of the government coalition, analysts have different estimates.

Nexmerdin Spahiu, a political connoisseur, does not believe in this election there will be clashes between coalition partners. However, it says the clash can occur only in two municipalities.

Spahiu has said the clashes could come between Vetevendosje and LDK, as well as the Alliance's PDK, since, according to him, where it is not Strong PDK is the Alliance and vice versa.

“I don't think there might be any leaders' clashes, since they actually didn't actually meet up with anything, but they fight in theory. But, in practice, the game between coalition partners can actually happen in Mitrovica, where it could be a potential candidate for AKR representative as well as for PDK. Eventually, in Malisheva, I'm thinking about the Initiative and the PDK, but I believe that the Initiative's candidate is potential”, Spahiu said about the Indexline.

Spahiu also talked about the race in the capital.

For the capital, the two main candidates are Shpend Ahmeti and Arba Abashi. There is no reason here for confrontation except that of the VV and LDK that is natural. Local elections do not disturb the national level of governance in the sense of confrontation among different candidates”, he said.

Local elections will be held on 22 October.
