Mimoza Kusari-Lila tells why she will run for Gjakova chairman again

However, while the campaign has not yet officially begun, it has not prevented parties from starting the campaign in the field.

One of the municipalities, which awakens the most interest in the election, is Gjakova.
In this municipality almost all the elections, the race has been very close, and it is expected to be this year.

Former Gjakova chairman Mimoza Kusari-Lila, who left the post for the MP post, has again entered the mayoral race.

Kusari-Lila even expresses confidence that she will get the votes needed to run Gjakova.

I had no record of categories of candidates, except I think they were the real chances of winning another term in the Gjakova municipality. Whether it's going to be in the first or second round I don't know, I can't do this assessment, because the campaign has not yet officially begun to be seen, as well as the trends of other parties”, Kusari Lila told Indexline.

The former head of Gjakova stressed that insisting on the citizens of Gjakova has led her to run again for the first of this municipality.

I think it's been obvious to insist on competing once again for chairmanship, that's why I'm the candidate for Gjakova” again, Kusari Lila added.

Kusari Lila won Gjakova for the first time in 2014, while since the June 11th elections she has been deputy in the Kosovo Parliament.
