Jacques Marion, vice president of the Federation for Universal Peace for Europe (FPU), said this organisation works worldwide and that the Balkans are very important to them.

“Balkan is a region very important of culture and tradition. We work in this area. It is a region that in the past century experienced wars and we work for peace in this region”, he said today on public television.

He said this organisation has built bridges and co-operation in the world, and that is of importance to all.

Marion appreciated that living together in religious harmony is a good opportunity for world peace.

It's a fundamental value to live for others. It is the philosophy to have all the religious leaders who make the best value of”, he said.
