Conditions for Free Lawyers
Under the new draft law there are some conditions that must be met to obtain free legal assistance, where most are related to the economic situation of persons involved in the case.
These criteria are:
a) have a civil or administrative issue;
b) A person's monthly income is under the minimum wage, or the person is out of business or retired;
c) Total household income does not exceed $500,000 a year;
d) The person and family seeking legal service don't have any other assets except the apartment in which they live.

How is payment set

A lawyer's minimum fee for any kind of primary legal assistance is 5,000 lek, while a lawyer's minimum fee for any kind of secondary legal assistance is 400,000 lek for each judicial degree on it
