Kosovo police hit a criminal drug ring, catch 135kg of marijuana

Kosovo police through an extraordinary conference have announced a successful operation against narcotics trafficking, where a significant amount of narcotics has been confiscated in the Ferizaj region.

Police have reportedly managed to destroy a criminal narcotics group that trafficked 135kg of marijuana-like drugs.

The persons involved, according to police, were caught in Ferizaj, Gjilan of the Year.

During the search, several doors have been encountered where their interior has been filled with marijuana. After the examination, 40 doors filled with marijuana have been confiscated, police say.

They were wrapped in thick cardboard.

Kosovo police have now announced that drugs were transported from Albania, while the destination was EU countries, Switzerland, respectively.
