The government “Rama 2” in co-operation with the Energy Community Secretariat will take a series of initiatives to enable energy exchange and further open the internal market.
Thus have they agreed at a meeting held in Tirana among the prime minister, Edi Rama, Energy and Industry Minister Damian Gjiknuri, as well as the deputy director of the Vienna Energy Community Secretariat, whose focus was continued reform in Albania's energy sector.
After this meeting, the Secretariat has announced a fruitful meeting, following the creation of Albania's new government, while stressing that new measures expected to be taken in the energy sector will include connecting to neighbouring markets within the Berlin Process.
