Independent Private Sector Union Chairman Yusuf Azemi said that in Kosovo a large number of employees in the private sector are without employment contracts.
The private sector employees are facing problems year-on-year. Company owners and the government have not been interested in solving this problem that is vital for workers”, he said today (Monday) on the morning show “good morning Kosovo, at Radio Television in Kosovo (RTK).
Azemi suggested that over 150 thousand workers working in Kosovo are not registered anywhere. A lot of companies are violating the laws by not registering workers working in Kosovo, this is legal violation and must take steps”, he said.
According to him as union has made inspections. There are large companies that have nowhere to register workers, as well as workers are interested in leaving to Germany to work”, he said. Azem said that workers who are without employment contracts are in construction and hotel construction.
