A prominent Indian journalist, critical of Hindu nationalist politics, has been shot dead in the southern state of Carnataka, police say.
Gaur Lankesh, 55, was found dead on her doorstep in the city of Bangalore.
She was shot in the head and chest by armed men who were on the motorcycle. The cause of the crime is not yet known, the Kosovo Clan broadcasts.
