An amount of fivekg of heroin has been seized by police, while in handcuffs two Albanians have ended up. Italian media write that a 37-year-old man from Kosovo and a 29-year-old from Albania have been arrested, who ended up in handcuffs once they left the northern part of Lugano towards Ponte Tresa.
The 37-year-old was the driver of the vehicle and the 27-year-old passenger.
After being questioned by police, both men were arrested and sent to detention cells. The arrest was confirmed by the judge. The investigation is co-ordinated by Public Prosecutor Andrea Paganin.
