Google has important news about Russian intervention in US election elections

“We are always monitoring for any abuse or violation of our policies and, we have not seen any evidence that this kind of advertising campaign is directed to our” platforms, Google officials said in a statement Thursday, as quoted by Reuters.

The researcher giant was asked to comment on the matter on the eve of charges shared by Facebook, the other online advertisers, the day before, Russia Today” reported, the Periscope broadcast.

In his report Wednesday, Facebook published some data linking Moscow to about 3,000 political ads directed by the 470 account <x0-auautmatic” between June 2015 and May 2017, which affected the US theme from gun rights to LGBT rights issue and immigration.

The only basis given for the request was that the websites were “connected to each other and perhaps operating outside Russia”.

Senator Mark Warner, ranked by the Democrats at the Senate Intelligence Commission, one of the bodies suspected of Russia's commitment to the US elections, which met with Facebook officials in July of this year.

He said he expects Twitter to follow Facebook steps, which has already sent his report to a special adviser Robert Mueller, who is in charge of investigating the alleged Russian intervention.

Twitter, however, has not commented on the issue so far.

Russia has repeatedly denied claims that it has intervened in the US election campaign last year.
