Unlike other times, residents of Obilic's Shipitule village of Obilic on Friday continued their lives without any concern. All their hopes are now dependent on the government, which is calling for the acceleration of the expropriation process.

Even though the recent agreement is much more favourable, residents are again unhappy with the offer, but are satisfied with the opportunity they have been given to hire at KEK.

Residents, behind the camera, have shown how much damage they have been made because of allowing numerous unlicensed construction facilities to take place.

According to them, much of the homes are built by people who are not even residents of this section but who call themselves commanders.

Workers in this village have also been seen performing work in houses that are not inhabited.

A few meters away, the escapers are continuing to work on removing the wasteland and extracting coal, much needed for energy production.

In the Kosovo Energy Corporation, they are confident they will not face energy production problems in the cold months ahead.

Arben Djukaj, KEK manager, has said there is no information about the amount they have to pay in the expropriation process, but in their contract they have only 15.5 million.

Kohavision finds that, under the agreement reached and related to the shifting action plan applied for the Shala neighbourhood in this same space, the value of expropriation had reached over 13m euros.

Unofficially it is taught that the value of a land bear has been distributed at 500 euros, a land bear at 2300 euros, while the value of a square meter of the house has been 350 euros.

If these figures apply to the new arrangement, then the value of expropriations could exceed 20 million, as the previous government predicted.

Such a large figure is likely to cost energy consumers dearly, as the same could apply to new tariffs next year if the government does not find any other way to lift these costs.
