They have not even commented on the new commission to verify the border line, though they have had a key role in this process.
The EU office in Pristina has not commented that about the actions of Haradinaj government on turning demarcation to zero point.
In a response to Indexline, the EU has said that ratification of the demarcation with Montenegro is needed to further the visa liberalisation process.
“Sic is submitted to the European Commission's legislative proposal of May 2016, ratification of the border demarcation agreement with Montenegro is a requirement for visa liberalisation”, said in response.
“While we are familiar with the efforts Kosovo has made now is essential for Kosovo to provide the remaining visa liberalisation conditions by moving forward and ratifying the border demarcation agreement and increasing efforts against corruption and organised crime”, it is further said.
“We consider it a common responsibility of the government and opposition to meet remaining requirements for visa liberalisation”, the EU office's response reported.
Furthermore, the zero-point return of the Demarcing Law in addition to international opposition is expected to have objections from Montenegro itself. Earlier this state's parliament has ratified the demarcation agreement, calling it a closed topic for them.
