About 1,000 citizens from Kosovo only this year have attended the German language course at the “Ge Institute in Pristina, most of them doctors and nurses, who have decided to leave the country and be employed in Germany, where they estimate they have the greatest perspective.
Annamaria Farkas-Meciniaj, director of the Institute “Gate”, has made known to the newspaper “Zeri” that this Institute since 2012 enables interested people to pursue the German language course, where it offers A1 to C1 course courses.
According to her, during 2016, such courses had followed some 1,200 people, where the greatest interest is in younger generations, mainly doctors and nurses, who are seeking employment opportunities in Germany.
A lot of candidates attending German-language courses are aimed at joining the family, but we have many Kosovo doctors and nurses seeking employment opportunities in Germany”, says Farkas-Meciniaj.
