How many “commits” The Haradinaj government?

Every party that has come to power -- to the poorest country in the region -- the biggest increase it has brought to Kosovo is the number of ministries. This even holds a record in Europe.

All of this, according to reports by non-government organisations, is to accommodate party militants in leadership positions.

So do Haradinaj government consisting of coalition PAN and AKR will have large numbers of ministries. More precisely, there will be 22 ministries.

About a thousand and 474 euros is a ministry's salary, not counting the wages here. That is, each month from Kosovo's budget only for ministers' salaries will be allocated more than 30,000 euros.

Even more budgets from the far-off practice are spent on all other deputy ministers and political staff.

That the large number of ministries is being done just to accommodate the militants, that is what opinionist Fadil Lepaja had said about the media.

And representatives of certain political parties had unanimously indicated that it is time to reform public administration, where the reduction of ministries is envisioned.

Lutfi Haziri, deputy chairman of the LDK, had said that if his party rules with the country from the beginning of the mandate, it would reduce the number of ministries.

While Albanian Pantina from the Vetevendosje Movement, although it had not given a deadline, it had said that 40 priorities for the Republic, which they have presented during the campaign, are also envisioned by public administration reform, which includes reducing the number of ministries.

Pantina had added that the issue will be discussed with the future governing partner as well as with the Parliament's consent.

“As the reduction of the number of deputy ministers takes place immediately with the appointment of the new government, reducing ministries could be a process that takes a little longer as such decisions affect even civil servants, and this cannot be done with a single decision.

Haradinaj government consists of coalition PAN and AKR. Although a candidate for prime minister, Ramush Haradinaj's party will meet only two ministries -- the Kosovo Security and Infrastructure Force.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo, in this government, has the largest number of ministries. The PDK will lead with the Ministry of Finance, Health, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Integrity, Justice, as well as the new Ministry of Innovation and Intervention.

Fatmir Lima's party will have three ministries. The initiative for Kosovo will lead with the Ministry of Labour and Social Management, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

While the party that Behxhet Pacolli, which entered the coalition at the last moment, has been divided into four resorts. The AKR will meet the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Environment.

The large number of ministries compared to past years has been divided into the Serbian List. The Serbian List belongs to the Ministry of Return, the Ministry of Management and Local Power and the Ministry of Agriculture.

The Ministry of Public Adminitrat and the Ministry without Portfolio will be headed by non-Serb communities.

This government has also been given its “Rugova” list. Dardan Gash will head the Ministry of Diaspore and Strategic Investments, which is the only ministry to have been divided to the “Rugova” list.

Each of these parties will meet with the deputy prime minister.

Ministers in Haradinaj Government

Although ministers from all parties have not yet become official, voices within the parties are declaring who some of them might be.

Behgjet Pacolli's adviser, Jtlir Zyberaj, has confirmed that the AKR leader will exercise the office of the first deputy prime minister and that of the foreign affairs minister.

Zuberaj has indicated that the post of minister of interior affairs will be exercised by Flamur Sefaj, the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning will lead Albena Resiti, while Valdrin Luka will lead the Ministry of Economic Development.

Paul Lekaj also confirmed that he will be Minister of Infrastructure, while Rrustem Berisha is KSF minister.

From the Serbian list, it is now known who will be ministers.

Minister of Local Power Management will be Ivan Teodosijevic, who has led this ministry since last term.

The minister for Kthim and Community will continue to be Dalibor Yevtiq, who in three mandates has headed this ministry, while Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development Minister Nenad Ricalo, currently a member of the Central Election Commission.

While PDK is expected to become public Saturday, the names of ministers, but that media sources inside PDK, they say there are these:

“Enver Hoxhaj will be deputy prime minister, Agron Mustafa- minister of finance, Besim Beqaj Minister of Health, Ismajli Minister of Innovation, Abelard Tahiri minister of Integrations and Diaspora, Present Hoxha Justice Minister and Rexhep Hoti Minister of Culture and Sports. ”

From the Rugova list, Dardan Gashi will be Minister of Diaspore and Strategic Institutions.
