The census has started from August 23rd and will last until 7th, Online Economy reports.
The application formula can be downloaded to the CEC official site on the web site or taken to the Municipal Election Commission Office.
Valmir Elez, the CEC spokesman, has told Online Economy that they offer opportunities for all to exercise legal rights to vote.
This phase started on August 23rd and will be completed on October 7th. This category includes all those citizens with legal responsibility, which means those who have the right to vote who cannot leave their homes because of their physical, health, or any other disability. So the CEC provides opportunities for these and can exercise their right to vote”, Elez said.
The vote on these persons will be enabled through mobile teams in the October 22nd local elections.
After the successful census of these people, on election day mobile mobile mobile teams will go to the home address of the voters”, Elez explains.
In the last elections held in June, there were about 1,000 people who used this right.
In last June 11, 2017, The CEC has had more than 100 mobile teams in all municipalities that have gone to election day in certain locations and so these citizens who have not been able to make it to the previous elections have voted through these mobile mobile teams. I can say there were more than a thousand voters who used it”, Elez indicated.
Counting these ballot papers takes place after election day at the Counting and Results Centre, along with other ballots.
For municipal elections held on October 22nd, voting rights have 1 million and 966 thousand and 90 people.
The CEC has certified 91 political subjects for these elections, of which 35 political parties, a coalition, 30 civic initiatives and 25 independent candidates and 7080 candidates for the assembly.
The draw of lots for the editorial numbers of participating parties in local elections will take place on September 6th.
