CEC pending requests for observer accreditation

The Central Election Commission is awaiting requirements for accrediting observers for monitoring local elections to be held on 22 October. The CEC reports that certified political subjects, NGOs and intergovernmental government organisations, specialised international organisations dealing with elections and protection of human rights, media houses and representatives of foreign countries can surrender to the Office for Registeration of Political Partys and Certifim the request for accreditment of observers for local elections.
The deadline for submitting requests for accreditation is as follows:
- The deadline for submitting the demand for media accreditation is 15 days before Election Day, that is, until October 6, 2017;
- The deadline for submitting the demand for individuals' accreditation on behalf of the organisation is 30 days before Election Day, so until September 21, 2017;
- The deadline for handing in the application for accreditation of organisation's observers is 25 days before Election Day, so until September 26, 2017;
- The deadline for submitting the request for accreditation of observers of the Election Day monitoring organisations is 20 days before that day, that is, until October 2, 2017;
