Order of the assassination of Triumf Riza, Enver Sekiraqa: I didn't even dream of killing Trife.

A year after being sentenced by the Pristina Foundation Court to 37 years in prison for inciting the murder of police officer Triumf Riza, Enver Sekiraqa presented his claims of innocence to the Court of Appeals.

Sekiraqa ruled out any possibility she could have conceived the murder of Triumf Riza.

At today's session, Sequiraha's lawyer, Borytan Penko, has asked from the Apel judge's college to rule out evidence weighing on his client.

Penko has cast doubt on the credibility of the Kosovo Police in the Sekiraqa case, as he said Kosovo Police have placed a gun in the defendant's vehicle and threatened it with weapons, referring to Ferizaj's case.

The lawyer added that even the order of the defendant's local raid has not been issued by Judge Drita Hoxha, and that this is proven through the police chip in search of “Sekiraca Bar”.

Even the testimony of the protected prosecution witness, coded as D2, was contradictory, according to him.

According to Sekiraqa's defense, the other witness had declared before the other investigation before the Court.

Enver Sequirah's defense even deemed the witness's anonymity unreasonable.

All in the end, after presenting objections to evidence, Sekiraqa's defense sought his release.

The defendant's defense has demanded that Sekiraqa be protected in freedom, given house arrest or released after providing any of his businesses with guarantees.

Meanwhile, the prosecutor of the case said Sekirafia's defence request did not find support in legal provisions.

According to the prosecutor, the defence has offered no new evidence but has reiterated the arguments offered at past hearings at the Constitutional Court.

On May 17, 2016, Enver Sekiraqa has been sentenced to 37 years in prison by the Pristina Foundation Court.

Enver Sekiraqa is charged with criminal acts of instigation in the murder of former police officer Triumf Riza and for obligation. His judgment began in October 2014.

For the murder of Triumf Riza, Arben Berisha has been sentenced to 35 years in prison after he was found guilty in the charge of having killed the police in 2007 in Pristina's dealtncenna” neighbourhood.
