If for nothing else, at least not to worry about their well-being.

But when a person has a cousin from whom he can borrow 205 thousand euros, then happiness is endless.

Such cousins have the wife of Serbian Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin.

The politician has been unable to testify to the possession of 205 thousand euros, with which he has bought a triroom apartment in Belgrade.

This fact was revealed in the report of the Anti-corruption Agency, published by Crick, after the minister had sent a letter to them saying that the woman's aunt Canada had given to him and to his wife, Natasa, a loan of 205 thousand euros.

Voulin and his wife had purchased a three - room apartment in July 2012 in the Ziesdara district.

When he became a member of the government that year, Voulin was obliged to present his property and property to the Anti-corruption Agency, including the new apartment, for which there was no legal cover on money.

It was this apartment that made Volin a suspect when the Agency checked the information provided and found that the vulin did not have enough money earned for his purchase.

Voulin had first told the agency that he had paid for this apartment from selling his previous property, but the amount he had accepted from his brother could not cover the amount paid for the new apartment.

Therefore, the Agency, led by Principal Tatyana Babic, asked for an explanation from the minister who had changed the story this time.

This time Vulin stated that he and his wife had borrowed 205 thousand euros from her aunt in Canada, writes Kurir, conveys Klan Kosova.

As evidence he had delivered a bill with his wife's signature, Natasa, who said she had accepted the money and that the deadline to return it was ten years later.

But the Canadian aunt's signature was not there.

This piece of paper had not convinced the agency that the seal was telling the truth. If he truly borrowed from his wife's aunt, then he was obliged to declare his debt according to the law, which he did not. He had declared that the apartment was paid entirely on the very day after the contract was certified.

As evidence he sent another receipt, but this document was not valid, since it had the signature of an apartment vendor who lived in Marbella, Spain, but lacked the account in which the vulin had paid him the money.

All of this was suspicious of the Anti-corruption Agency, so they contacted Dogan and Administration to prevent money laundering.

If anyone were to bring 205 thousand euros of cash to Serbia, this could not have gone unnoticed. However, there is no note that any relative of Volin, including the aunt of the Canadian woman, has sent money to Serbia.

The Money Exploitation Administration, which records monetary transactions, has no information that the amount mentioned was paid in vendor accounts, according to the Agency's report, transmitted by Crick.

This agency had forwarded the report to the Prosecutor's Office for Organised Crime, while the procedure had remained in the drawer for two years. It was completed at the beginning of July, where no evidence was found that Vulin committed any criminal acts, Klan Kosova reports.

The case had been transferred to the First Foundation Prosecutor, who only verified whether he declared the property in the agency, and considered that the apartment had been registered, the app had been rejected, while in mid-August the case was closed.

This event has turned into a mood among Serbs, as for any amount of money that cannot be reasoned now says: “Mey has sent Aunt”.
