A powerful storm is heading toward the Caribbean islands less than two weeks after Hurricane Irma passed through this devastating region.
Weatherrs said that the Maria storm has turned into a hurricane and will strike the lywardian islands tonight.
On Sunday, Maria has been about 445 miles [445 km] from the lyir Islands, with winds of up to 120 miles per hour, the U.S. National Uranganean Centre said.
Weather forecasters say Mary can reach Britain and the United States' Virgin Islands during today, as well as Puerto Rico.
Hurricane Irma has caused dozens of deaths in the Caribbean as well as in Florida and Georgia, U.S.A.
Another powerful storm, Hurricane Harvey, hit the American state of Texas last month.
