Four people, a teacher and three students, have been sent to the hospital after a 15-year-old shooting with an air rifle and throwing a cigarette hand grenade at a school in northeastern Moscow.
The prosecutor's office for the Moscow region has announced that a ninth grade student has been arrested following today's incident in the town of Ivantejevka.
The Detective Committee's spokeswoman for the Moscow region, Varvara Yayeva, said the IT teacher, who seems to have been the target of this attack, has been injured.
The other three students were hurt by dancing out of their classroom windows because they were scared for life.
The investigation into this attack has begun.
Incidents of this kind are rare in Russia and generally in the states, which were once within the former Soviet Union.
Most Russian schools started their new school year on September 1st.
