Shpend Ahmeti (Photo) is released

Pristina municipality Chairman Shpend Ahmeti was detained last night by Italian police at Milan Airport.

The reason for the ban is to verify the name, since what it looks like in the Schengen system is also a person of such name as is being sought by the Spanish authorities.

But it seems that everything has been clarified and Shpend Ahmeti has been released from Italian authorities.

Ahmeti has shown this through a photo published a few minutes ago, where he looks at Milan airport returning to Pristina.
