Shipilula residents are preparing to release properties in which coal will be extracted that will serve for electricity supply. The Kosovo government has made a decision to expropriate those properties, but owners are not satisfied, however.
Ardian Doctore, has not been well received by the decision to expropriate property in his village, in the Cave.
He says that no one has talked to them until now and they don't know what conditions they're going to expropriate.
He's one of the first to release property, to give way to expanding surface mining.
Ardian doctor, resident of Shippitula Minister Nexmedini says unfortunately the government's decision does not go in favour of residents.
Nexmedin Doctor, representative of the neighbourhood Doctor Government of Kosovo, has made a decision today to expropriate 11 properties in a section of the village of Shipitula. This paves the way for KEK to resume supply of coal-fired thermal power plants, RTK reports.
Isa Mustafa, Kosovo Prime Minister-in-Office Ferat Shala, acting Minister of Planning Passy has failed the Frame for Policy of Displacement, Kosovo Energy Corps, has requested the Ministry of Planning, expropriation of the entire village, Shipitulla. The ministry intends that by the end of the year, this village of over 200 houses will be expropriated.
