Will Sali Berisha conduct Albania's first session of the Assembly?

Albania's president, Ilir Meta, has been dating September 9th for holding the first session of the new parliament to exit the June 25th elections.

The constitution envisions this first session being conducted by the oldest MP, who is former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

Whether this time Berisha will accept the first session, or act the same as he refused four years ago, although he was the oldest MP, writes Laps.al.

We have since remembered, running the session took over Namik Dokle, as the oldest deputy after Berisha. It remains to be seen what will happen at the September 9th session.
