NISMA racing alone in all municipalities in local elections

The initiative for Kosovo is in the final phase of appointing mayoral candidates in local elections.

Officials of this party suggest that the officialisation of candidates will take place within the first deadline.

This party, which in the recent national elections has been in the pre-election coalition together with the AAK and the PDK, in municipal elections will compete alone.

Kosovo Initiative Chairmanship member Valdete Bajrami has told news.net that they will compete in all municipalities. Bajrami has indicated that they are working with all party structures to name even the candidates to which they will compete.

The Chairmanship of the Initiative for Kosovo is now making preparations for the October 22nd elections. We are constantly in contact with our branches and submarines and in the pre-term we will publish the names of even the candidates for the assembly, but also of candidates for the mayor. The initiative for Kosovo will take part in these elections in all single municipalities”, Bajrami has said.

So far this party has formalised Zafir Berisha as candidates for Prizren mayor. The initiative for Kosovo currently government in the Malisheva municipality with Ragip Begaj.

Regular local elections will be held on October 22nd.
