Therefore, the Vetevendosje Movement has so far made public the names of candidates for mayor in six municipalities, where incumbent Shpend Ahmeti has nominated for a four-year term for Pristina municipality. And for the municipality of Gjilan candidate from this party is Sami Kurteshi, for Lipjanin Retkoceri, for Istog municipality Agron Avdij, for Therand municipality Leonard Shala, and for the municipality of Salih Salihu.
Vetevendosje Movement spokesman Shkodran Hoti told Kosovo that the candidates' Pres are determined by membership vote in each municipality.
“Tech Movement VV!, mayoral candidates are determined by membership voting in each municipality. So far, by this vote, Shpend Ahmeti is scheduled in Pristina, Cetatin Retkoceri in Lipjan, Salih Salihu in the year, Agron Avdij in Istog and Sami Kurteshi in Gjilan. On the other hand, Driton Chaushi announced his candidacy in Gjakova. In other municipalities the process will continue the following days”, he said.
Although not confirmed as a potential name for the mayor of the Vushtrri municipality from this party is Aida Drdguti. While the name of Ayjet Potter has also been mentioned by this party for the Podujevo municipality candidate.
Meanwhile, the Democratic League of Kosovo has not made any changes since past elections. The LDK has made public the names of candidates for mayor of 13 municipalities, where most of them will also be candidates for a mandate. This party for Podujevo ran the current president Agim Veliu, in Istog Haki Rugova, in Gjilan Lutfi Haziri, at Pejam Muhhaxhier, in Fushe Kosova Burim Berisha, in Lipjan Imri Ahmeti, in Suhareka Sali Aslanaj, in Viti Sokol Haliti, in the municipality of Dragasit, is branch chairman Selim Kryaziu, in Kamnica Shaip Surdul, Shbin Selim Shaban, Feriz Ferajrem Sqar, and Novodur Jdumer.
This party has not made public the candidate name for the capital, where until four years ago the capital has been the bastion of the Democratic League of Kosovo. Among the names talked about potential candidates for the capital are Vjosa Osmani, Lumir Abdixhiku, but also former Pristina chairman Ismet Beqiri, until he has yet to publish the candidate for Prizren.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo during the campaign for the national elections had made public its candidate name for the Podujevo municipality, which will be Hajredin Hyseni.

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo during yesterday has made public the name of the candidate for head of Pristina, Arber Vladhiu, for the municipality of Obilic, incumbent Xhafer Gash, and for the mayor of the Decani municipality, has been named after Daut Haradinaj.
