Experts in this field and institutional officials say that changing the Law on Security in Communications has not given him the expected results.

2017 is the hardest year for car drivers in the country. Since the end of the war, there have not been fatal accidents like this year.

The last three months when dozens of Albanians lost their lives on the streets of Kosovo, they have forced officials of the Kosovo Ministry of Infrastructure, the Kosovo Police, but also communications experts to analyse in detail this phenomenon in the past years that was evidently smaller.

Burim Krasniqi from the Ministry of Infrastructure told RTK that based on their analysis and research, they have found the main cause of so many accidents that have ended with fatality.

According to Krasniqi, there is no street or magistrate, which has been identified as the place where most accidents have occurred, but according to him they have occurred on most of the country's roads.

The change of the communications security law from which three new laws have been issued in order to reduce accidents, such as driver's license, traffic and automobile regulations, according to this official have not produced the expected results.

But communications expert Nol Dedaj has identified something quite different, which, according to him, is leading to so many people losing their lives on the streets of Kosovo.

In addition, Dedaj said three new communications laws that are in place are not suitable for roads and circumstances in the country. Deday added that they have only been translated by different EU states or even neighbouring ones.
