Workers committed to honouraries during election day have not yet received their dues from the Central Election Commission.
A few days ago, the CEC in a media clarification said the list of people engaged in the June 11th election was sent to the Ministry of Finance for the transfer of tools through their accounts.
“The CEC, after verification and corrections made, has submitted to the Ministry of Finance lists of members of the Locals and Technical Staff Councils who have been engaged in the upcoming elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, which were held on 11 June 2017. These lists have been sent to transfer tools to the staff accounts engaged” reportedly in clarifying the CEC.
On the other hand, Muharrem Shahini, spokesman at the Ministry of Finance, has said that realising payments to staff engaged in the June 11th elections is the responsibility of the CEC.
“As far as budgetary means are concerned with the payment of commissioners for elections held on June 11th 2017, the government has allocated the budget for these elections and is responsible for the CEC for implementing payments” potential Shahini.
In this election, the number of members of the Housekeeping Councils and engaged technical staff has been, 24 thousand and 581 people. Neither Sahin nor the CEC in their responses have explained what date the commissioners will have their pay salary on the count.
