Criminal prosecution for family heads of an entire village in Debar

Family heads of an entire village in Baskia and Debar will be prosecuted, having blocked works for construction of a hydropower plant.

An official of the Debar Police Commissioner explains that it is a protest where residents have tried to prevent construction of the hydro power plant “etta 4”.

For this reason, 20 citizens -- all family heads of Arras village -- will be prosecuted in a free state.

It becomes known that they have taken illegal action by physically and psychologically threatening private subject leaders and specialists, claiming that they were not asked about building this object in the territory of the mountainous village.

Under these circumstances, the firm's legal representatives have made confessions to the Debar Police and have sought help to restore normality.
