The beach was evacuated after many vacationers complained of difficulties in breathing, irritability, and vomiting after the beach was covered by a mist that came from the sea, writes Rtv21.tv.tv.
Emergency response services warned residents along the East Sussex beach not to leave their homes, as chemical fog covered vacationers on the beach.
Police reported that the unknown content mist had come from the sea, while the fire service described it as a chemical incident, but that the fog is still unknown.
However, rescue teams stressed that the odds are small that fog has contained chlorine.
The Witnesses confessed that at one point they felt a shock of their eyes and that many people began to panic off the beach. /21 Media
